Tara Joyce Breaking Records, Filly Swim Primed for Playoffs

Last week the Cody Filly Swim team played host to Powell for Senior night. Their were four seniors that were honored: Mahayla Allred, Brindi Brittain, Clara Christensen and Tara Joyce. That night would also turn into the Tara Joyce show. In front of her home fans, for likely the final time in her career, Tara would set a pair of State Records: one in the 100 butterfly and the other in the 100 back. Prior to those record breaking performances I caught up with the Filly senior to talk to her about the records, the season and more.

Tara Joyce now holds 6 Wyoming State Swim Records. Tara and the Cody Filly Swim team is down to their final few meets of the regular season. They’ll be in Buffalo this weekend, at Powell next and then the playoffs being the weekend of October 21^st.

Filly Swim Seniors Honored, Tara Joyce Sets 2 State Records
