Warrior Swimming In Powell Over The Weekend

The Worland High School Boy’s Swim Team were in Powell on Friday and Saturday.
Friday was the Powell Triangular with Douglas and Powell.
The Warriors would finish second with 340 points.
Senior Traeton Quigley won the 500 Yard Free and the 50 Yard Free.
Senior Gavin McEndree won the 100 Yard Back and Junior Gage Stanek won the 200 Yard Back with a time of 2:14.18 good enough to qualify in Wyoming 4A.
On Saturday the Warriors competed in the Gene Dozah Invitational with five other schools : Lander, Powell, Riverton, Cody, and Douglas.
Traeton finished 3rd in the 200 Yard Free, and 2nd in the 100 Yard Fly.
Stanek finished 3rd in the 200 Yard IM, and 3rd in the 100 Yard Back.
Canton Green finished 3rd in the 100 Yard Breast.
All three swimmers qualified for 4A in their events.
Walker Cooper qualified in the 100 Yard Free.
This Friday and Saturday the Boys Swim Team will be Home.
Friday will be the Playing for Hope “Pink Out” swim meet starting at 5pm at the Worland Aquatic Center.
