Warriors Win The Big Horn Basin Classic

The Worland Warriors win the Big Horn Basin Classic Trophy for the second time in 3 years.

2020 and 2022 are the years that the Warriors would win.

The 2021 season there wasn’t a Big Horn Basin Classic because of Covid-19 restrictions.

Since their first game of the season the Warriors have won 10 straight games.

They have bounced back and forth between 2nd and 3rd in the Wyoming 3A rankings this season. They have currently regained the number 2 spot.

With wins over the Riverside Rebels 84-33, Rocky Mountain Grizzles 71-34, and the St. Stephens Eagles 73-43.

The Warriors would compete in the Championship game.

Hosted by the Warriors, Worland would face the Powell Panthers for the Big Horn Basin Classic Championship.

The Warriors would get a 77-48 win over Powell to earn the trophy.

Worland Warriors outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points during the tournament.

The Warriors are the number one scoring and shooting team in Wyoming 3A basketball 

Worland will travel to Lovell Friday for a 7pm game, and host Powell on Saturday for a 4pm tip-off.
