Whitest paint ever created is also the coolest (Literally!)

Whenever you start a new home project, perhaps you automatically go to the hardware or appliance store to get your supplies. Walk around a little bit & you’re bound to run into the painting section (It happens almost every time, let’s be honest.) Maybe you’re looking to repaint an accent wall or a child’s bedroom.
Engineers at Purdue University have come up with the whitest paint ever & they say it’s also the coolest!
In an effort to curb global warming, the Purdue team experimented with creating an ultra-white paint to push the limits of how white paint can be. The newer paint is not only whiter but also can keep surfaces cooler on hot days.
Researchers believe this white may be the closest equivalent to the blackest black (Vantablack) which absorbs up to 99.9 percent of visible light. The new whitest paint formulation reflects up to 98.1 percent of sunlight. For comparison, the previous best ultra-white paint reflects only 95.5 percent of sunlight.
