It’s hard to believe but the time for Senior night has already come.
There’s a special place in my heart for this senior class. I began my time hear in Cody the same year this group entered their freshman season. Hard to believe that 4 years have already passed. I’ve been truly honored and blessed to tell the stories of these student athletes for the last four years. Today, we hear from the Cody Basketball seniors to feature senior night.
So I’ve decided to take a different approach to Senior night this year. Instead of having interviews with the kids today, I’ll have interviews with all of them pregame, I’ve decided to look back at my time with them over the last several years.
Special. This group is…. special.
Below, I’ve attached some of my favorite stories, as well as favorite game performances, that I have put together over the years for you to enjoy!
Here is the first ever interview I did with Kennedi Niemann:
Entering their sophomore year, you knew the Niemann kids were going to be special. Here’s a feature I did on the three of them.
Each year the teams do a blue and gold scrimmage to begin the season. Their Sophomore year I caught up with the girls and it’s cool looking back on this one knowing this was the year that they’d make it to the State Title game for the first time.
As the Fillies prepared for their first State Tournament run, during the 2020-21 season here’s a feature I put together which stars Jessa Lynn.
To date, this might be my favorite feature, when I talked with Ally Boysen and Izzy Radakovich.

Victory Buck entered the program her junior year and what a force she’s become.
It’s pretty amazing to look back on, but in his Freshman year Luke Talich would drop in his career high, 31 points. Here’s a full game replay and interview:

Wilkins Radakovich has had a breakout season, his senior year, and here’s, I believe, his best two games of the season.
