Eat Like You LOVE Yourself!

You made it to the weekend! How do you feel? Did you make good choices this week?
As we head into the weekend, I want to caution you… about “treats.”
Why, when we “treat” ourselves, does that usually mean we eat unhealthy, sugar-laden, processed food? That type of “food” only contributes to disease and illness, adding toxins to our bodies and slowing down our systems.
Shouldn’t we “treat” ourselves to delicious, nutritious food that our bodies will LOVE?
Next time you want to “treat” yourself, consider an apple with natural almond butter; or a delicious sweet potato drizzled with pure maple syrup! How about an oatmeal-raisin muffin made with honey, or a few sticky Medjool dates with a handful of walnuts?
Eat like you LOVE yourself! Eat well – eat healthy, eat clean. Remember, food is FUEL! Everything we put into our mouths either feeds disease or fights it. Which will you choose?
